It's that time of year again! The European Space Agency (ESA) is gearing up for another round of student led experiments providing access to equipment that can simulate the rigors of space flight, whether it be microgravity, hypergravity or radiation exposure.
The ‘Spin Your Thesis!’ programme gives university students the opportunity to carry out experiments in hypergravity, using the Large Diameter Centrifuge in ESA’s Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands. Proposals must be submitted by the 10 December 2012.

The REXUS and BEXUS programmes offer opportunities for student experiments to be flown on sounding rockets and stratospheric balloons. The deadline for proposals is the 22nd of October 2012 .
These programs provide crucial opportunities for aspiring researchers in their early career. For more details on both these programs please follow the respective links, or visit the ESA website directly (http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Education/).
